Being married to a dreamer is the most exhilarating and maddening adventure I could have imagined. Marrying a man who is a dreamer, an ideas guy is something that I couldn’t have never been fully prepared. There were quite a few things I learned after our ‘I do’s’ that no one tells you about marrying a dreamer.
You will never be bored. You will never be without ideas to explore and mischief to make but on the flip side, some days you may just want to take a nap.
They will almost never have a plan. They will have the wildest dreams and the most extravagant ideas and when you ask about a plan, their response will be, what plan?
Logistics in not a frequently used word in their vocabulary. Time, money, plan? No need to figure it out now, they’ll just figure it out as they go.
You have thought at lease once ‘he has a brilliant mind’ or ‘he may be certifiably insane.’
They will be the reason you have so much fun in your relationship and you will balance them out, making sure things still get done.
Dreamers and adventurers make the best partners and husbands I’m convinced. They will always have an idea you haven’t thought about, they will always bring a different perspective to consider and it's impossible not to have fun when you’re with them.
